If you aren't up to date on the Korean business, South Korea has apparantly found that N korea sunk one of their ships and killed a bunch of their peeps, etc etc, a group of investigators from various nationalities investigated it and came up with evidence or something and now the US is outspokenly (and Japan) behind S korea.

I'm wondering and speculating with friends what will come of it all, whether or not N korea will blow a fuse, will China clean up their mess, will US get overly involved etc. There's also the question as to whether or not the conclusion is authentic and not some result of complicated political engineering... it looks apparant enough that S korea is pissed though.

Also looks like the US is goin to take the soldiers out of Iraq and throw them at afgan instead. kekeke

Introduction

I need to edit this post to say why I should be a member of the Wildfire Council.

Goals

I need to say what I wish to achieve as a council member during my elected period.

This is the first topic that should ever be made in a gaming forum. Though made late, it is no less in awesome.

Just like TF2: though it's long after its release, it's still epic win. It blends FPS reflex skill with knowledge of sentry killing/team composition/class specific skills (rocket jumping, scout dodging, spy sneaking) and ridiculous explosive spam everywhere (not my favorite part of a 32 man game). It's most fun when played in a 6 man competition or casual ladder, like the one No Heroes has set up.
I had a hard time choosing from some old RPGs. Mebbe it's just nostalgia/gewd old times that draws me to those

What's yer favorite game evar? Is it a classic, a new release, a *gasp* non-FPS?! Tell me so I can go buy it. :>

I'll start:
I thought AC2 was an epic dissapointment because the combat system was essentially the same: 'lol solo 5million people, no need for actual low-profile-i-ness'. I've always wondered why they don't just up and change the name of the game to rambo's creed. I also think that ODST was so not worth the cost just for firefight.. and its campaign was lacking imho. Bioshock also feels sad to me because it's yet another 50s/60s game that is half the game fallout3 was, though I have heard it compared to half life 2 and the like, but I don't see enough in it. l4d2 is also more of the same imo. On a good note, I thought Blands was magnificently fun with friends and MW2 was decent.

However, I look forward to Napoleon total war, Starcraft2, Final Fantasy XIV, maybe HL2 episode 3 if they ever get around to releasing the friggin thing, Halo Reach mebbe, APB fo sho. Half of my expectations aren't FPS, lmao

Performance in some of my games is absolutely horrendous, and I'm certain it's my 3200 ATI HD Radeon graphics card. I have been considering purchasing a new card, but googling it just doesn't work like it used to (adverts and graphics card wars.. honestly, who wants to fight about graphics cards). I know there are some good techies in wf and hope to purchase a decent card (up to date and higher end, but not ridiculous-just-came-out-5000$ sort of thing) that will work for newer games.

Considering Nvidia GeForce 8800 but I want to hear personal opinions on your own graphics cards and how they're working out. Help is appreciated : D
