As I've watched many new members come into our clan since the introduction of the invite-only system, I've noticed a problem that I'd like to help fix.

Because of the removal of ranks, all non-supervisor members are essentially on an equal playing field (with the exception of one, to my knowledge). However, I can't help but think it'd be hard as a normal member to accept people as equals before they've proven themselves, especially if I did not really want them in the clan.

Therefore, I propose we reform the invite system to make it much more formal and inclusive of all of our members. for example, if one person spotted someone on our servers who they thought would do well in Wildfire, they'd post that person's name and Steam ID in a invite forum. Then other members could look at that player both in game and on the forums, and after 1-2 weeks an official vote could be held in admin cp as to whether or not to let that person in.

As for the voting system, I think it could work something like this:
all sups get the equivalent of 3 regular members. possibly sups w/fm could have the equivalent of 5.

It would then take either a majority of the votes or 66% of them to let that person into the clan.

This way, every member who was accepted into the clan would have to be liked by most of our members, so it'd be easier to immediately give treat them as equals.

It doesn't take much time for one person to make a vote and then you take 3 secs to vote on it

thats a bit of the problem ... It isn't so many who are watching the players.

LOL Milosevic, I am the most active member on the [WF] servers.

Although I partially agree what you said, it is not 100% true...Ive seen many players who would fit perfectly in [WF], who are skilled and play correct.
I also see a lot of BS, first someone tries to teamkill you and moments after it asks to join [WF] numerous times.
I see lots of players come & go everyday on the [WF] servers, I know a lot of players by name and I can pick out the ones who are wrong and right.
But truly its a shame that I havent seen 60% of this clan ever playing on the [WF] server UK1, you guys should get more active.

All in all, Eagleye has a good idea. And it should be taken into the invite system.

Those are my two cents

PS: I said active on servers I might not be so active on the forums.

Hey guys about the invite system i think they(admin) should do somethink

so wait a sec. are you going to nominate people without telling them?

and i still think this would take years cause not all members are on all the time and the person may not be on all the time as well.

invite only does keep random people from spamming forums with applications but this new system will take a lot of dedication from everyone.
