Ok take it from me i have used the kick command and it is horrible, its not that im not grateful ( i am VERY grateful) but having a 5 min ban would be much btr than a kick. I say this b/c if u kick ppl they come right back and are usually more pissed off. Kicking hasnt worked for me yet because of this.

If we had a 5 min ban then they would hopefully learn a lesson and they wouldnt come right bak and start camping or tking again.

Seriously, ifd they keep coming back get one of us or bind a key to kick them so as soon as they join again you can hit the button and they go.

Alens I am a really good friend of you the problem wiht this is the members that already abuse this kick feature will definetly abuse this feature if given I know this happes alot with everyone like me and others. I have been a admin before and more power comes more responsibility and some members can't handle this. What would be a better idea if the more responsible members were to get a feature lik this one that brings peace into a server and will be liked by othe players in the server but no one is quite ready for it.

ok but no really i thought we have gotten rid of the abusers. Like that one that went around kicking evryone whenevr he got on.

Your right we can get rid of abusers but admin is a huge respopnsibility and trust me t's not as fun as it is cracked up to be it actually makes the game less fun for admins due to the constant watching of player's every moves.

P.S Ill be back on tomorow im on a house hunting trip for a beach house on east coast

I seem to recall that in the old rules topic there was a rule about not impersonating admins

Anyway, alens, you should really be glad we even got kick, I mean they could have just said no and left it at that, honestly they were nice enough to give us kick and now you are asking for more? It's better than having nothing isn't it?

Lol, well I don't see too much harm in giving members 5 minute ban, however, it is likely we will just let your kick option settle in before we make any more major changes. After all, we have more abusers to kick before the next change

Just as a tip, I'd try this to stop people who keep on coming back under different names:

1. type 'status' in console
2. copy the offender's Steam ID
3. in console, type 'bind h ma_kick STEAM_0:00:000:0'
4. spam the 'h' key a bunch, whenver you die and such. eventually the jackass should leave you alone

this all banks on the hope that you cna ban by steam id, of course. I'm pretty confident you can though.
