Wildfire Clan Internal Tournament 2006

As requested and announced a few weeks ago we will be running a clan tournament this year.

The Wildfire 2006 tournament will run between the following two dates:

Friday 8th December to Sunday 31st December 2006

The structure of the matches is as followed:

During the event the private servers will be used to hold the matched. To keep the games fair all admin rights will be revoked from everyone; except for the basic functions which Cols will get (Kick & Ban + Reset Game etc)

A total of 20 rounds will be played, in which each team will played 10 rounds as CT, and another 10 as T.

The map that will be used will be “breakfloor”.

Privates Can Participate

If a match is organized and a squad is missing a member for the match then a private may take the spot, the choice of what private joins the team for the match is up to the Col, however the private must be in the same location as the match (US or UK) for latency reasons.

In the event that it is a Col that is a no show then a Gen, Brig or Alex and Dave may take the Cols position on an arranged match.

Scoring System

At the end of the match the points awarded to each team will be as followed:

Win: 3 Points
Draw: 2 Points
Loss: 1 Point

Squad Activity

So to insure that these matches occur please make sure your squads are active. If not contact your Majs or Lts, if they do not reply within 4 days then please contact Alex or Dave and they can remove anyone that has been inactive for an extensive amount of time.

If you believe your Col is inactive then again contact Alex or Dave and let them know.

Squad Cols will be responsible for arranging the dates between them and their squads.

A special set of forums will open soon with 15 new topics in each forum for each match, please use this to organize dates between your squads and use it for anything else related to that match.

Other Notes

Spectators: The only spectators of any match allowed will be Dave, Alex or Mike.
Servers: The permissions on the private servers will not be changed until Thursdays 7th December 2006.

Clan Private Servers

The clan private servers will be updated tomorrow (Thursday) ready for matches on Friday.

Admin privileges will be down to a minimum as they will not be needed during the match.

Full information on the server setup will be posted tomorrow
