I've noticed this ALOT on the all of the wildfire servers. And I highly suggest that we add votekicking and votebanning to the Wildfire servers. So that we are able to kick AFKs, ban tkers, and some other stuff. IMO, it would make things alot more simple on the server. And it would be nifty when there are no admins currently on the server.

its
mani_voting 1 // allows all voting to happen
mani_vote_allow_user_vote_kick 1 // Allow the users to kick players by vote
mani_vote_allow_user_vote_ban 1 // Allow the users to ban players by vote

Alex explained to me WHY we cant have it. Its because in the past, people have abused it and when a clan wants a server to themselves, they votekick everyone out, INCLUDING wf members... i think that is a reason enough not to have it. How much would it suck, coming onto your server then being votekicked, with out being able to do crap! a lot lol

UK Server 1 Trial - Votekick & Voteban Trial

Ok within the next hour votekick and voteban will be enabled on UK server 1 for one week.

Users will be able to vote kick/ban a player for 3 hours when an admin is not present.

Remember this is only a trial; if it becomes a permanent feature it will be rolled out across all servers, but for that to happen we need good feedback regarding the options.

Dave will [WF] members be immune from being votekicked and being banned?

I'm not going to worry about that for now, as this is only a trial. But yes Lt's and below can be banned via vote-ban.

However if a Maj or Col is online then the vote-ban option is disabled.

If we plan to roll it out on all servers then we would of course set up an immune group.

hey awsome thanks. a trial is what we need. i hope its a votekick that doesnt take the vast majority to kick people, but oh well.

I think they should have votekick for public not voteban
if theres a bunch of The Pink Fairies members they might ban all the people that come to the server.

I've never gamed for that long.

However I can say I've used a computer for some really long lengths of time.

i.e. I decided it was a great idea to leave my externally marked coursework to do one week before it was due. (You get 6 weeks).

Let's just say I didn't sleep two nights, done coursework all though the night and still went to college, which by they way is a 90 minute journey too.

Thank god that's all over tough ¬_¬

Weekend Halo 2 came out -
Went straight from school to a mates house, played solid untill the sunday night
We slept in shifts (three of us) each shift lasting just one level :D

I get a bit odd early in the morning...one weekend I was still up at 6am, so thought, sod it and went and had a bath. o.O

I can quite easily spend a whole weekend gaming when I've got some friends over, but thats with extensive consumption of coke :)

Latest I've been updoing coursework is 4am, which I've done on several occasions as I have some orgnaisational problems :)
