This is a competition to solve the most codes developed by your fellow members. I will start with one code, and anyone can feel free to add their own. Please make them semi-difficult. Challenging, but not impossible. Please do not make any extremely simplistic codes. Only codes on this post are part of the competition. I'll keep track of how many codes each member has solved.
Here's the first one:

Code #1
Creator: Eagleye
ocws ny imbd

Code #2
Creator: Eagleye
zpv ibwf xpo

Code #3
Creator: 7.62 Nato
o zdv eruq lq d eduq

Code's solved:
Nato: 2
Code's submitted:
Nato: 1

codes should have a way to figure it out right? not just random letters to form a phrase rite?

*sigh*
zpv ibwf xpo
And for the math function you subtract 1 meaning z=26-1=25, and 25=y

So p=o and v=u
Then just solve all of them like that.
So you convert the letters into a number and then apply a mathmatical function

you have won

it's easy... lol

Codes can be based on other things then turning words into numbers and applying a mathematical function! :P

I doubt anyone here would ever crack this...

Of course >.< Thats the whole point of codes!
Well you can bet someone would solve it eventually.

Think about it, if people could crack RSA based encryption, or similar, you wouldn't be able to buy stuff on the internet.

A lot of the current encryption schemes are based on semi-primes, a number that has exactly two prime factors, and IIRC there is a $1million for finding a pattern in the semi-primes and their factors.

Luckily, the large semi-primes are nearly impossible to factor so our internet banking is safe for now :D

Unfortunately, with quantum computing will come the possibility of breaking codes :o

Try and factorise this 617 digit bad boy :D :

Needs to be geek in maths to crach THAT

Looks like computer codes, well, string lenght redirects to SHA1 on me...
