[Maggot Brain]

Ok, enough of the self-important bull. Hi, my name is Niklas ( | Maggot Brain | , in the game). I'm from Finland and I'm probably one of the oldest players of this clan (if not the oldest). I'm born 1978 in Helsinki (the capital of Finland). I'm married and have a daughter (who is as of this moment 8 weeks, 1 day and about 5 hours old).

I've got some rather weird, well weird for probably most of you, motives for joining the clan. I've been playing Counter Strike most actively when it was first released as a beta for the original Half-Life. We used to drag along our computers with a bunch of friends to an old sugar factory and sit there an play all night. There's nothing like a bunch of friends sitting in two different adjacent rooms and virtually blowing each others heads off! It's lovely when you hear somebody banging their fist on their keyboard or hear a mouse fly across the room after you've successfully knifed them. Just remember that it's not wise to piss off people who can beat the ###### out of you in real life.

Some part of my motives for joining is to write a series of articles about how to play Breakfloor maps wisely. Many of you might not realize that the biggest boon in a breakfloor map is your wits/brains/tactical reasoning. Another part is to decipher/understand the data that feeds this reasoning (what you see, hear and "feel" in your guts). It's not always about who shoots the best or who camps the most or who uses what hack. There is always a way to counter the other players tactic, be it camping or not. One simply has to think a bit and device the counter strike (pun intended).

My hope is that by revealing some tactics, many of which require proper team work, we could enjoy more hacker/TK free games as the point is in having fun (but not at other peoples expense!). I just read the Wikipedia information about the status of CS and CSS hacking and it looks like the same old is still the same old.

When people get better at the game and learn to think, rather than being robots that simply shoot at everything that moves without any tactical sense, they tend to find less reason for using hacks or team killing.

Anyhow, thanks for accepting me to the clan! I'll be seeing y'all on the battle field and at the bottom of that darn pit!!

and hey... he cant be that bad if he was recruited in one day when ppl have been waiting.. and didnt one of our members say he owns? dont judge ppl by their ranks lol especially not nowadays. take me for example.. i have been in this clan for years and i havent surpassed pvt! well actually once i did but i got demoted probably for my activity lvl which anyone can see is really low but is picking up (no im not the biggest noob in the clan lol)
