CREATING AND PLAYING DEMOS

To create a demo file:
you first open the console. This is done by pressing the [`] key (next to the 1). Then you type "record DemoName" for example
record natopwning
this would make the demo's name be "natopwning".

To stop recording the demo simply type "stop" into the console. A demo will record anything on your computer screen, so spectate the person you want to record then it will record the same thing you see.


To play a demo file:

If the file was given to you from another person, you will need to move it to the cstrike folder (usually located at "C:/Program Files/valve/steam/steamapps/[username]/couter-strike source/cstrike/")
If you created the file, the demo will already be in the cstrike folder.
Simply launch the game, open the console and type "play demoname" for example
play natopwning


and that's it, enjoy!
