hey i think there should b a new rank btw pvt and lt cause it seems like a rly big jump and there r alot of pvts who wont get a promo until a new spot opens up

I checked the Us military ranks
Lt. Maj. Col. And Gen. Are all full officer ranks
while pvt. is just enlisted
we should have a rank inbetween such as corporal or sgt. for doing something worth noticing

I think there should be 2 new ranks
1 for a recruit (after a while you become a pvt)
1 for a pvt that has done something well (but not yet in a squad)
So itd look like
Gen
Col
Maj
Lt
Sgt (possibly)
Pvt
Recruit (possibly)
Although mike, dave and alex will never agree

We have been thinking of having a new rank:
Cad. - Cadet
The idea is that every new recruit goes into the group, then when they have been ok'ed by the Cadet team leaders (A Col. + Maj.) they would be moved into Pvt.
Pvt. would then be the position in which you would sit in until a position in a squad becomes avilable.
Having an in between rank between Pvt and Lt doesn't seem beneficial for us at this time, however it is possible.

Dave has a brilliant idea
It seems that lots of people want a sgt rank.
That has to be integrated into the cad-pvt-lt mix somehow

I have an idea to squeeze in sgt.
Say theres several privates trying out for 2 lt spots.
They all tryout and the best 2 become lts
If a private had some skills but couldnt beat the two new lts, he would become a sgt (only if he was good, not if he sucked but was still 3rd).
Sgts are then given priority in the next time a squad has openings, and presumably if he can't make the tryout and the other pvts suck, he would get the spot.
This would cut the pvt population up a bit, and would make the ranking system more stable.
Or dave and alex can choose not to include sgt.
