Hellfire Situation

For those who have not been on the forums in the last few days, basically a fraction of the wildfire members decided to start a new clan, which has lead to a number of people moving over to them from us.

Now Hellfire is basically meant to be a clan in which they do things differently from wildfire and hellzone. Still at this point if you pay attention you will see that there recruitment process, forum layouts and squads are very similar to our own.

To add to that yes they will give you admin, and everything will see friendly at the start, but that is only because they are picking and choosing members from wildfire. They will like every other clan begin to have problems once they get members which they don't know from previous clans.

I am going to defend wildfire here, just as you would. Maybe you have taken many of the wildfire skilled players, but we still have something that you don't have; skilled administrators who can develop programs and do many more admin tasks than any of your "admins" can. You did for example rip the applications topic on your forum from us and used a templates website. You can't even install the newest version of IP.Board?

The Point

So my point to everyone here is that if you want to join Hellfire then fine, but when you really think about it, it's just a poorly implemented version of wildfire, and I say that because they opened applications before they sorted the initial site, which really isn't professional or organized at all. And don't get me wrong, i'm not saying hellfire will fail, but it's not quite original either.

Scrims

And to those who want more scrims well the "Cols" who moved to hellfire have always been able to do it in WF, so it doesn't mean it is going to happen over there. On the bright side Col. Artinium will hopefully be arranging regular scrims for us now and we have the internal tournaments coming up in about a month.

Closing Note

So if your looking for a more long term clan that is making developments in the community then stick with us; we are offering things back to the community, such as mani-admin tools that are used on a daily basis.

If you want admin and nothing else then maybe another clan is more suitable.

If you have any queries regarding any of this then please post. Can I make it clear that we are not going to fight/argue with them, I'm just giving people a heads up to what they can expect if they are to leave and to update those who are not in the loop. It is at the end of the day 100% your choice.

Positive Notes

On the positive side of things we have now been able to promote several people who have been waiting for promotions for sometime now and is now in the progress of coding and bringing together our new team to deal with a brand new recuritment process which will be due to go live we hope next month.

Hellzone Clan (Not Hellfire)

We have now arranged with hellzone that they will no longer recruit members that leave wildfire ever, nor will we recruit there members. We are in the progress of making a truce and hope to start organizing more often friendly matches against them.

lol dave nicely, truly, and well said. and it makes me feel better. lol. so glad im in this clan not that theirs isnt good, (plus i would never leave wf) or doesnt have good ideas with all the admin given out (free admin to new players? uhh.... bad things.) for better admin patrolling or abuse on their servers. well i cant complain about our clan coz its so cool

U did the same thing to get WF a year ago so i hope u understand.I still want u and ale and jack to be friends with me. and on that message u sent me i might have erased u as a friend on accident cause i wass erasing people i didn't know and i am sorry.

i dont know about that... all people make mistakes and in wf we like to give second chances. if you make the mistake more then 2 times, then yes your out.

Yeah guys.....so I was thinking I would just go and make a new clan.
I can go tonight to one of those free forum thingies and make an account.
Haven't quite decided on the name, it's gonna be one of these lets vote:

FireZone
WildHell
FireHell
While i'm deciding, I figure I can just go ahead and go onto the WF servers and nag people until they join my clan (WZ FZ WH or FH).
Then, I will tell them they can be a super general colonel rank if they can host a server.
Once all that is done, I will have admin to server and be a high rank and I can tell my mom to be proud of me.
So, who all wants to join?

I don't see any reason to "***** fight" between clans, well unless one is cheating ofcourse Anyways, HF have fun and good luck, but I see no reason to join them I could care less about admin rights or promotions, if I want to I will put a server online myself

I can understand that, and I do respect that part. But the difference is when we started, we started small and we didn't ask other members from other clans to join.

But I think I have said everything on the issue that needs to be said from my point of view, and remember you got to also respect that we are still a clan too, not a feeding ground

I'll stick with WF ofcourse. It's obvious that HF has nothing more to offer than WF. I wish them luck, but I don't understand why they want to make a new clan that's looks like WF. Seems pretty useless.

Exatly. HF is nearly the same as WF.

But WF has alot better and skilled admins like Dave, Alex, Jack, Mike, Wasti, Hawk and Villan

The only problem is, there are no HZ players.....only the ones that went to HZ for like a week before. And then may I note came back asking to get back in. All the players are from WF.

Well something like that did happen. jaZ went from Lt to maj not that far back mostly because he's been in the clan for ages i mean he's member 43 and he joined in july so he deserved it.
