Right im getting really annoyed with lack of admin around. When im on the server i take up the role of an admin, as i should, so answere any queeries, prevent tking/camping and generally helping out.

However i get really annoyed when i cant help people out when they ask for things that i havent the right sto provide. Such as on a surf server yesterday i was asked 17-18 times in about 2 mis to change the map and when i said i couldent they said why and i told them that i dident have admin rights they just asked again. i even did it in admin sk but they still persisted. Als when u have 2 afk people on breakfloor its boring. and if u slap them down to 1 hp then slap them so they die people call me an abuser and threaten to repot me.

Please can we resolve this because i fell it is outragous for membes of the clan to take this crap

I agree.....I spend 1/2 of the time on the severs explaining what the rank/admin structure is so people will understand what we can/can not do. I think the leaders should relax the admin powers to give lt and above the right to kick and slap....that way we can manage the servers bettre. I know this is an ongoing topic with MANY!!! threads....I do not understand why these 2 simple functions can not be given out...

if so, i doubt that's gonna happen, there has been numerous threads about admin and none of them have made a bit of difference.

Well, as for the surf servers, I will allow capt.s to start vote map, I also will be changing the map rotation to a better one within the next 5 minutes.

AKA. Alex, please change the sync for the surf servers to allow:

Col: mapchange, vote map, next map, ect.
Maj: mapchange, vote map, next map, ect.
Capt: vote map.

Pretty much for campers i can just beacon since i dont kno hwo 2 slap with hurting someone. and i also do beacon when its just 2 ppeople left and their far apart. It also helps to do it when there are a bunch of campers but i usualy leave it for 2 min so this thread will probably be closed. And today there were 2 tkers and i couldnt do anything about them .

It's the whole frill of it for some people.. If you had admin striaght off it would be boring.

NO! The 3 Gods aren't goin to give cpt admin right. Everytime they give admin rights to a class such as col or maj the next level wants admin rights. Why cant u guys just be happy! Soon enought Pvts are goin to want admin rights and u know what NO! again. Just wait till u are promoted to get admin rights like everyone else and just to let u know, THATS WHY WE HAVE X-FIRE.... Learn to use it... Thats why u need it to get into this clan......

Xfire is great ThInK...I have tried it many times but no one comes...anyways...deao point...Alex has said no and it is no..What I agreed to originally was to let JUST kick and slap so members can help police a little more...but like I said Alex is not going to do it...obviously a bad experience...

Yup he's right he isalways there incase of tkers and helps when he can. i havent had 2 call him but others say he's great to help and there are alot of people who can help.

i see that captains having admin rights is ridiculous. if they cant do anything except slap and talk in green, they are all talk and no bite! meaning that anyone who experiences the all talk and no bite, that they wont listen to any other admin... its pointless for them to have it if they cant do anything, all they can do is abuse the few powers they have. And its true, most of the abuse now adays is from the captains, like for example with gov, celtic, ect...
ether give them more power, or none at all.

However, i see what alex and dave are doing. they are testing the captains to see if they can handle admin powers or not. That is why they are refusing to give in, otherwise it would defeat the purpose of what they are trying to do.

You probably are right Honestly ive used slap but it was mostly on myself after my team won and beacon when its 1v1 and it takes a while. Other than that hawk is right i tried warning tkers with admin talk and they tried to tk me so i havent been able to do much to stop tkers. and also hawk is right that dave/alex are probably testing captains to see if they are ready for captain.

hawk i completely disagree.
giving limited admin rights to the cpt's does an incredible job with stoping most campers and tkers.
i know from experience that it works.
also beacon is a great admin ability for campers, so even if they don't listen all will know that they are camping.
and as for people not listening to other admins, it's rediculous to believe that people won't listen to full admins because once they are slapped or kiked or banned or whatever the col. or higher decides to do, they will start listening

I'm gonna have to agree with eagleye... sometimes its really nice to have that slap feature when the same person keeps tking after numerous times they've been told not to. And admin talk usually werks for those times when people don't realize that we simply don't allow trenching or camping. If that doesn't work I usually go find a col. or maj. to give some extra help. Personally giving more admin powers to captains would be suicide and its a great way for people who haven't done much admin-ing to get a feel for it and not be completely confused by mani and also so us captains don't get all slay happy or ban happy or beacon happy or well you get the point

I think its okay with the powers capt. got right now. If a person camps you can beacon him and if he tks you can slap him.
