Holy effing ######! Battlefield 3 will finally come! Fall 2011.

I am so dumping my girlfriend, saving up all my money to buy energy drinks and saying goodbye to daylight. I played to much Battlefield 2. Goodbye personal life and university!

Are you crazy? Battlefield 2 is one of the purchased games all time. DICE have had many years to develop the game. And do not even compair BF3 with games made by Treyarch.

The action/fps genre is failing, all the new games is more or less similar to each other

I guess you haven't played any of the Battlefield games. They are the foundation of all the modern FPS-games. And not like CoDMW.

Not really. DICE will make this game for PC and consoles later if they feel for it. Imagine a Battlefield 2 but made today.

So it will be epic. Not a game made for consoles then converted to PC.

Oh i just meant MW/MW2 are the new base lines for graphics.

But yeah I have no idea what the game play is like in BF2.

With graphics like these and gameplay similar to the multiplayer bf2 videos I've seen....

This could be a must buy for me. (after the disappointment of black ops)


p.s. Stay away from exploding cars when rpg spamming terrorists are on the server. L2P main character.

Surprised no ones talked about the beta yet.

Caspian border got released today or yesterday for north america at least.

Cause I was massively disappoint at the metro rush map.

Although it doesn't resemble cod much, I guess as a "fanboy" I can't help but compare them.
BF3 feels like hardcore mode all the time (1-5 bullets = dead)
But I think I can get into the conquest mode.

Battlefield 3, will be the best game of the year. I love both the maps the beta offer. They are far away from any Call of Duty game. Why?
All the things that make Battlefield, the squads, able to revive, recoil that actually makes it hard to hit people that are far away (semi fire makes it better) etc etc. And vehicles!

And 1-5 bullets to kill a person is simply great! No god damn risk of being rushed with a knife like in CoD MW2. You actually have to think before you move.

I was a DICE-fanboy until I tested the beta (PC). Tbh it was a huge dissapointment. It's full of bugs, weapons don't have recoil at all (compared PC and xbox360 versions), hit-reg, operation metro, no in-game squad management, battlelog (don't even know what to say about this). Loved Caspian Border map though.

No, it IS a beta. Of course it's going to have bugs, it's not the final release. In fact that's the whole point of a beta, to deal with bugs and other issues that need rectifying before final release. I don't understand why your view of BF3 should be altered because of beta testing.

I personally think that DICE have used the beta as a marketing campaign rather than to test the game though.
