Here is a new map my friend made for the clan (if they accept it to be on their servers).

Called : Breakfloor_Firedup
This a modded version of breakfloor_adv tex ( the design of the blocks and frames goes to orginal author of that map )

Here are few screen shots of the new map below have a look at the old and compare to the new.
It's features will not be released to forums yet but im willing to discuss the features to any col. cllr. and ldr. if they would like more info about the map.

Hey guys, can you reply to what you think about this, i agreed that if there are some good replies then we will set a time and date for people to play the map for 30 mins. So we need your input, my input is i prefer breakfloor_classic but i have to give everyone a chance,

Might be a good step for WF, bringing in new players. Only time will tell, I personally like the idea. As Mike said, I also prefer the classic.

Well the editor and i have been thinking and agree it looks alot like a aim_gg map so we brainstormed for a while and got a new texture more befitting to the map.

Along with more features still coming until the map test date .... if u have any ideas or suggestions pm me or kamikaze and we will see if we can make ur ideas come to reality.

here are the screen shots of the new textures tell me what u think :D

What do you mean by that, please make your critisim more constructive because I never heard of textures being homo-sexual. I say that the classic map texture look mediocre because its a bland mix of different shades of grey except for the pit.

Map making is an art. you express and suggest in art, I dont think art is that simple.

True, but I meant that it looked like the dev of the classic map just slapped the textures on. I spent five hours trying to pick out and apply the textures so when some one tells me it's gay it just ticks me off. On the subject about art I agree with you there but to reach that stage you need to be very experienced artist and have grasped your true perception of art to do something like this and call it art. That is exactly what my art teacher told me and it makes alot of sense. If it were incorrect everyone who could draw an effortless and meaningless dot on a page could be called an artist.

New rule for this thread, please base an explanation behind your opinion in your post so that we can fix whatever is the problem with the map. e.g instead of doing this

don't let Ts/CTs view eachother at spawn, that' help campers even more so I'd suggest making it a full wall, the rest is pretty good

No, I made this map specifically for this clan and from the comments I've seen and it seems like everyone in this clan hates change which is what modding is all about. One of my reasons in joining a clan is so that I can mod for them. I've spent a handful of hours just looking and planning out how to add the ideas the clan members came up with from this thread, 9 hours or so working on the map(excluding the texturing), 4 hours in the editor texturing, 3 more hours of texturing after the remark of someone calling it gay, and another three or so hours of populating the map with entities and decals so pretty much ofcourse I would of been mad enough to leave the clan after they kept me waiting while I was in a fit of fustration after thinking that I might have been screwed over.
