Map breakfloor_classic *edit*

Well every1 has had problems with team killing.

If we could possibly edit the map by Removing the pit and Replace it with a higher altitude floor yet out of reach to jump out with a ladder leading to respective spawns and a glass proof barrier separating the pit

maybe to spice it up add a DoT flame which also effects the ladder to remove camping in the hot pit

tell me if you think its a good idea or otherwise

It seems as though everyone who is TK'ed ends up in the pit at the bottom still alive.. which is pointless since they still can't play the game if they are down there - May as well be TK'ed maybe ?

Also, how do people who fall, die?

See if you can solve those issues? :)

maybe somebody could just do some teleport thing down the pit or something... so if somebody gets tk'd and they fall down then it could teleport them back to the spawn

Good idea, but how do you know who's dead and who has been TK'ed in order to bring them back up to the top?

They can continue the game by exiting with the ladder

When the fall in they take slight fall damage along with good damage over in a few seconds from flame

DoT is damage over time

I'm on the fence on this one, in theory it seems like a good idea but I wonder how it would play out.

Simple answer. Its breakfloor classic meaning thats what the map is. By all means make another one that looks completely different with these features and see what happens. We will never edit this map as its breakfloor's orginal map and thats why people join it.

I recently found a map which could solve trenching problems and possibly Team killing Called Breakfloor_advanced_tex

Pros :

1.Easy to break with low damage
2.Frames around each block so trenching is pointless
3.Has a ladder to get back to top
4.The sides of the pit cant be crouched on

Cons :
1.Only way to get back up to surface is a ladder
2.Instant death when u hit spikes
3.If attempting to trench the opposing team can use ladders to strike from behind

It is not, that is why we have rules against it. The map we have now and always had works great and easy to learn.

Yeah it does look a bit weird but still couldn't you just make a map that hasn't got a pit so they can't tk maybe a ladder to get back up is the best idea :I
