As part of our continued commitment to improving our services to you... (Marketing rubbish over)

Basically we are looking at how popular "Members only" features would be.
Some suggestions so far are:

• More starting money
• Get an M4\AK at the start of each round
• Special Skin for top ranked player
• More health at start

You get the idea.

The aim of this is to actually give you something back for your commitment to WF and to encourage other people to join and stay.

Remember, only members on the server would be able to access these features and turn them on and off as they please.

Is this a good \ bad move for the clan?

Bad idea! I hate it when I join a server and the admins/members of the clan get extra stuff. It unbalances the game.

Ok maybe members should get stuff that does not mess up the balance of map. I was thinking skins would be a good idea, like each rank (Col, Maj, Lt etc) all have a set skin each so when you rank up you get a new skin. But i dont know how you would manage to do something like this.

Members have the advantages then because non-members are slightly disadvantaged, they join us?

On Mikes front, I like the Skin Idea, but I'd perhaps also like to see some gameplay improvements for members.

We could also, maybe have a members only server with these features enabled?

I do see your concerns, however what about a compromise?

What if we have simply, exactly how we are now, with an additional Members Only Server with such features?

I've seen it done with serveral Clans and they're nearly always full.

We need to start boosting membership figures AND retain members, this is one way of doing that.

This way, we get the best of both worlds, a series of standard servers, with an additional server dedicated to the features. - In turn this would hopefully bring in more members to the clan, yes some will only join for the extra features but they'd also have to be active in the forums as the rules stand now. We will however, also have people joining for the community, the standard servers and the features.

The other benifit is that if you want to be a member you dont have to go on the features server, thus we don't actually annoy any existing members or reduce our steady income of intake, but we would improve our membership figures due to the additional server(s).

More easier to see which guy is an admin or people with fake names.

Trial run for 6 months on 1 server perhaps guys trying something new isnt always bad its trial and error ??

Exactly, it would do no harm except take a while to implement.

If it were to go ahead, what type of features would you like to see?

Custom skins for WF members is a pretty good idea.

When people are tking and we are asking them to stop, they wont. With skins etc they will understand that we are WF, and can/will get them banned for their actions.

Often people think I/we fake the name because all WF's isn't admin. hm

The "Clan Tag" from steam community should fix this, however it's a bit buggy at the moment.

Once it's sorted we'll announce it here in the forums.

- I do agree however that skins may also add an extra layer of prevention
