Yes, folks, today Valve finally unveiled the first official details about their upcoming game Portal 2 rumored by gamestop to be released October 26th. It is said to have co-op mode and will introduce new characters.

So there, finally puts an end to all the speculation

Ooh, and here is an excerpt that actually makes me really excited for it:

"The game's two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively."

I heard somewhere that the AI would be the Founder of Abstergo, not Glados again. and it's a bit annoying that it sounds like Chell's been captured and sent into stasis for hundreds of years. I don't really understand where the portal game is now on the Half Life timeline...
