What is the best ever pc game? this can be new or old it just needs to be the best pc game in your opinion.

hm hard to say.....I'd say there is no "best" game. some people like WoW for example, some don't. so some people say WoW is the best pc game ever and other people again say that counterstrike for example is the best pc game.

I don't have ONE favourite.

Anyway, it's impossible to compare across the genres but some definately stand out. World of Warcraft for instance is huge and undeniable in the world of RPG (MMORPG), Half life in fps, Command & Conquer, Warcraft, Starcraft in terms of RTS and so on

Best RTS ever made and still is today...
okay it was made in 1997, but its better than half of the RTS games made nowadays..
so for me TA is my favourite game of all time.
RTS game with robots and such good AI's and even decent graphics and the units all fitted in and didn't have any type of crap overpowered troops,
for a 1997 game it was a game beyond its generation i must say...

Oh man. I can still beat up Core anyday with a group of arms battlecruisers & missile ships. Navy units ftw. Anyway, have you tried Sup Com? Supreme Commander, same guy who made it and sup com is similar in many ways to TA, only TA naturally kicks its ass

I just love the peewee's and flashes for a little rush attack
or some brawler's patrolling my territory
i never like the navy units too much...
The best part about TA is having an ally and just capturung all their units :PPP

Haha - Nothing beats a heavy cruiser just lying out in the water bombarding the shores of the enemy. Seriously the sheer firepower and destruction a battlegroup of navy units in that game could bring was pure awesomeness.

wait a minute, were the heavy cruiser's the one with like 3 massive cannons thing's at the front of the ship and then 3 more at the back??
if so i remember using them ^^

Hell yeah, that's the Arm's version though, the Core had only a single row of cannons and then a laser turret in the front, better AA support but less awesomeness since 6x cannons > 3x cannons

The sound file for the Arms cruiser's cannons was just epic. I gotta buy the game again!

allright then. if you buy the game off like Ebay or something, i'll buy it too (when i get paid, hopefully monday ^^)
and if you work out how to do multiplayer (i never been able to work it out lol...)
then i'll give you a game or something mate. i miss that game sooo much
