Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is a first person tactical military game for Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and PC
In real time, crossing the island takes 9 hours on foot, 4 hours in a jeep and 20 minutes in a helicopter.
Initial look is impressive, but I wonder if this is another Farcry 2?
What are your thoughts?

it will ###### up the name Operation Flashpoint, it will be more like an pure shooting/action game than a military simulation like Operation Flashpoint was.

Just a question, but with games like this, do they tweak the graphics, when they put them onto Xbox360, PC and PS3, or is it the same all round?

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis is one of the best games ever made imo, I've spent hour after hour playing it and creating maps for it.
I love the realism in it.
Though at first they tried to copy it with ArmA and they failed big time, so I'm a bit skeptical about OFP:2, though I'm gonna buy it for sure just to check it out.

I sure hope it wont be like Farcry 2, the first was amazing but the second wasnt of my taste. However the first OFP was more like a tactical Battlefield, where you had to use your brains when you commanded your squad in tanks, helicopters or just on foot,
