I know multiple topics have been made in the past to gauge where we're at in the video games. However, I thought that it would be nice to have an official topic that I would update regularly to show how many people have what type of game and who they are. This way we get a feel for what members inside and outside the clan play.

If we all have something in common, I probably wouldn't mind funding a trial server to see how things play out. If all goes well and activity on the server is reasonable from members and others, I would like to see that server become permanent. My hope is that if I can prove that we are compatible with a different scene of FPS gaming, JAD may consider diverting funding from some of our inactive CSS servers to the new server. Right now it seems like CSS is burning out, so I want to help insure our longevity as a community and a gaming clan. If the server is a failure or it is not included as a permanent addition, then it has come and gone with no inconvenience to anyone. However, if it is a success we may be able to move on to new heights as a clan.

First I'm going to need to see what you all play, so fire away! If one of the fps games you have are not listed above, just say what it is and I'll throw it into the list I'm making. If we accomplish nothing else, we'll get a feel for what we all play as gamers.
Aight, for the first list:

Hawk: More of an Xbox player

Zammy: CSS, COD4, COD5 + Xbox playing

Blaze: CS:S, CS 1.6, L4D and BF2

Apolloz: Armed Assault

Planzor: CS:S, L4D, TF2 and GMOD.

Dynamic: TF2, Gmod, CS:S, BF: 2142, plays a lot of PS3

Zeromac: CS:S and TF2.

Bravesurf: CS:S

Off5hore: CS:S L4D and TF2.

Zalmanuk:CSS, L4D, COD4, COD5, HL2

Miloslevic: CSS, TF2

Envolta: cod4 and cs:s

CS:S, L4D, TF2 and GMOD.

Wolf-Bane: TF2 and GMOD L4D for me.

I don't know about the rest of you but I've moved away from the PC and started playing more xbox. Mainly because I don't have to keep upgrading it like I do with a computer. (even though I like the PC more)

And btw, you mention BF 2142 and 1942 but not BF 2...

Only games I'm into and I don't really play TF2 and GMOD anymore.
It's all about L4D for me.

Well people don't tend to run about telling people about their KDR in CSS. Anyone talking about playing computer games a lot is just going to get lumped into the western stereotype of 'internet addiction'.

I'm playing Half-Life 1 right now. I've never actually beaten it yet. I'm at the part where Gordon is about to enter Zen.

I wanted to put off playing HL1 until black mesa source comes out, but whether or not it's EVER going to come out is kind of unclear...

Holy ###### man. Black Mesa source looks epic and doesn't look like the sourse engine at all. I can't wait for that to come out.

Team Fortress 2 looks pretty widely played here. If I can get a server running during the summer with perks, along with some steam events + xfire contact we could make a nice name for ourselves. I know we did it before, but once summer kicks in I'll be on my comp 24/7 (and I'm sure clan activity will pick up as well) and I'll be able to kick your asses into the server if it comes to that . If we recruit on the TF2 server, we would also be able to get a base of TF2 players to keep it going. Not to mention expanding the forums to TF2 discussion ect... Just a thought...

Well TF2 doesn't really look so good then. If we're not going to play it there's no reason to invest I suppose.

Sorry for the bump,

but TF2 is the second most popular there? (the first being CS:S, and we're a CS:S clan)
Relating to the suggestion topic, if 72% of the clan play TF2, that's quite a large amount, and it's only what £14 for the game? Not exactly expensive, so no doubt atleast another 10% would buy the game if we did have a server on this game.

If we did start recruiting from another game - or migrating to a new game, this is definitly the one.
