Facebook is a useful service, and it used to be very well built, but it seems their development has no direction at all. Old-style features are mixed with new-style ones, the front-end is horribly inefficient (causes my CPU fan to spin up when loading because of the heavy Javascript code and it occasionally hangs Firefox)
