They don't want to make a big game out f it. As what i heard, there will only be 3-5 classes, less maps than in 1942 and you will only be bale to play it online.

I want, I want, I want!!!

Okey, serious now. I know some people working at DICE main office. This is supposed to get more maps and classes as time goes. Why? They want to give us something as fast as they can what I've heard. But this might be a tricky lie to fool me and enjoy the little things they give us.

That is disappointing, but no matter, it still looks fun. 1942 was a lot of fun.

Wow that was random and OT :P

Anyhow, I think it will be sad that they use the Frostbite engine and not the Refractor engine. Sure, the Frostbite is better and made by DICE itself and not by Refraction Games that made the refractor engine. But the Refractor is what I'm used to. I think 1943 will be more like Battlefield Bad Company than Battlefield 2 or 2142.

TBH Bad Company sucked absolute ass
I reckon they are only doing this to get in on COD5's success, the WW2 genre, and because most of the companies have decided to end their WW2 games, I think this is probably the last one they will do, hopefully, that is WW2.
I wont buy this game, and the only upside that I see is the possibility of there being a 2143, because 2142 was completely awesome. I am very bored of WW2 stuff at the moment, and I cant really be bothered with this, Im sure its going to be great but I dont really care.

it sucked ass! there was only 1 game mode, and the doors broke when u knifed them. it was seriously lame when compared with something as epic as 2142 which was great (killer, goddamn!) I must say that it was alright in the outlook of the online and all it's execution, but thats what DICE is good at. The story was absolute crap.
But if they do this second one, and they execute it well, making the online much better, to try and compete with COD, which epicly failed when they tried to go onto the Consoles market with BF:BC, then I will buy it and it should won everything, because Battlefield can be so much better than COD, they just need to do it and they need to try harder. So Im not that sad about a BC2, because it could be awesome. Lets hope they dont cock it up.

Really? IMO the BF2 engine is really glitchy.

I thought they were just making it for the Xbox 360, so you can download it for 1200 Microsoft points. It got released a few days ago on there. Looks good for the amount of time it took them to do it. Played the trial.. and it was alot of fun, so yeah worth 1200 ;)

I have played it. It's not a lot like BF1942, because you don't have a set amount of HP: you get hurt and you regen over time like a lot of the other games. You CAN fly in planes :D but the matches usually only have 16 people, and half of those people are in planes so it's like a friggin wasteland and you can't find anyone half of the time. If you like a slow hunt for enemy players then you'll like the game, but if you are a real type of deathmatch player you're going to despise this game.
