lol, if you think I mean that, this discussion is over. Arguing with people who only hear what they want to hear is just throwing time and effort down the drain.
I read your entire post. You think that 60% still have some sort of special resilience to the WoW addictivity. Since you didn't imply that this was a bad thing I assumed it would be a good trait of someone to be able to resist a game that is addictive.
Very many of the players who are not addicted probably don't have to resist it because they don't find it as appealing as an addictive game would be. WoW isn't a wonder drug that's crazy addictive that some peope lose their lives to while others lose their lives over a longer time span.

It's true I don't know what you're arguing. Reading everything you've said, I still can't find out what's wrong with WoW players other than the problematic 40%.

I would like to add that I do hate WoW for a different reason, it's that it is so dominant that no other MMORPG stands a chance of ever getting close to it, even if the other game is better! Because WoW players are loyal, if they don't have the money to subscribe to another MMO, then they simply don't.

So true. Before I played WoW I played final fantasy 11, a once massive online MMO. Once the economy crashed in most servers because high level players left the game (probably back to WoW) I left it too and found my way to WoW, where even though the game lacks in quality it has the aspect of a world that most other MMOs lack: the people. There's lots of them anywhere you go :D

WoW Is an MMORPG, People on this forum vote no because they love to shoot people in the face and have no imagination.

OR they voted no because its "NOT COOL" who the hell cares, almost everyone in the world plays wow at some point in their life. and yet a select few say that its... Not cool
Is cool not what everyone says is cool? so that select few that say it isnt cool obviously are the un cool ones because the majority of the world likes it and plays it.

EDIT @ JAZ:

The games quality in improves greatly with every patch and expansion, the first areas coverd in the original game (eastern kingdoms) is very bland and boring yes but if people had atleast the atention span of a 8 year old they would get past that and see the beauty in the game its self. (OH NO theres no Spray and pray and everyone falls down and I laugh because I have no skill)

**Comment above was not directed at jaz, just as a general statement

yes, thats why im in a counterstrike clan :P

and Jaz, depending on the time you last played, the character models have been updated a bit, and the newer expansions. such as Wrath of the Lich King the world graphic quality in the areas added really improved

I know they're capable of improving it, they're just not going to spend the resources on it because they know we'll tolerate the current conditions. Here's a screenshot from an aging final fantasy 11 that I've left

This game was made relatively long ago and it has the same type of world as WoW, but clearly it looks a lot better. It's possible, but it's not being done.

Now that the thread has been brought back, I feel that I must do this post justice and show that there can be no dispute about what looks better
