Escape From City 17 - Part One, made by some crazy guys on a budge of 500$. Looks like there's going to be more. Totally badass. 604000 views already. Their coke video is hilarious as well. I got it from steam news xD

Ah, so I'm not the only one that found this then hehe. Its good, but it really is let down by the audio, can barely hear the voices in some parts, and that would have cost nothing to do better.

Yeah, I noticed the interference when they're talking. I just can't wait for the zombeh parts. The least they could do for improvement is ask valve for a fat check seeing as this is definitely going to get some publicity. Yes, I'm aware that would probably not go through. lol.

There has never been a big (Hollywood) production on any of the video games I even know of. Too bad, I would totally pay extra to see any regardless of how badly it sucked. Someone has got to let them know I'm not the only one <_<

Valve know what's going on, I believe they flew them out to the offices to meet them, but I don't see them handing out fat checks too soon hehe.

You can do a lot on a $500 budget. But as they obviously haven't included equipment in that budget, it'd be interesting to know exactly what they brought actually. The guns are good mock ups so can't have been cheap.

I'm currently involved in a Halo fan film being produced by indie film makers in the UK, should be interesting to see how it turns out, they're expecting to spend about $50,000.

Heres some concept art, its what sold me on the project.

You got me. But there are lots of other kickass games that I'm sure would make great movies.
