Has anyone played this yet? I got it the other day and I must say it's a lot of fun. It's EA's ripoff of portal. No where near as good as portal of course but still fun. The way the city is built and how it looks along with the music gives the game a euphoric feel. try it out if you haven't yet.

Ok thats it....you are crazy! It is nowhere near Portal.
Things the game got in common.
- Female main character
- More problem solving than fighting
- And some things I can't remember right now
In Portal you often stand still at a spot and look where to go unlike Mirror's Edge where you (I) ran all the time. Portal got more problem solving than Edge does. In Edge you kinda know the way all the time unlike Portal. Portal is a typical Valve game. A game that nevers gets so say "boring" always something new. Mirror's Edge is more like Assassin's Creed. After a while you get bored because you have done everything and now it only repeats itself. Jump there, climb over there, run on that wall....you know what I mean.
I like Mirror's Edge more than Portal, Edge combines, Assassin's Creed, a possible future Japan and IKEA.
Portal - Slow problemsolving game, not so much action.
Mirror's Edge - Fast problemsolving (3 cops shoots at you while you are trying to climb to an edge 20 meter up) And more action, you often get the choice if you want to shoot or just run away.
Sure, Portal got a cake in the game.....but Mirror's Edge got a better story and I do like the way Dice (Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment) made the cutscenes.
Apolloz say: PLAY MIRROR'S EDGE! Not Portal.

I dont like mirror's edge.
Reason: because what apolloz just say more solving then fighting, im not into game where u need to solve alot.

You are crazy too! A game needs things to be solved without action...then you enjoy the action more when it comes. Like all the Half-Life games.

i dnt like it very much, levels are easy and short, quite repetitive and gets boring after a couple of hours.
it does have good graphics and i got it for only 20 quid
any1 got new time trial level for free of ps store thats quite good
