The proceeding is to be the new Wildfire Ranking System:
There will be four ranking tiers as follows:
Colonel, Col.
Major, Maj.
Lieutenant, Lt.
Private, Pvt.
The Colonels and Majors are to receive administrative abilities equal to the previous rights of Colonels and Majors respectively.
The Lieutenants are to receive admin rights equal to those of normal members at the current time.
Privates are to receive Admin-Only chat, and no other administrative abilities.
Furthermore, there will be, initially, 5 squadrons (squads). 2 for North America, and 3 for Europe. The NA squads will be 1, 3. The EU squads will be 2, 4, 6. Additional squads will be created by the council when necessary.
Privates will not be allocated to a squad. They will be an introductory rank, and when appropriate can be promoted into a squad.
NOTE: Squads will have the ability to have 2 lieutenants each, if there are enough qualified members to fill all other positions.
If a member applies to join the council and is not voted in, there rank will not be affected. However, if they are voted in, they will lose their rank. Ex-council members that are not re-accepted into the council may either a) fill an empty spot in a squad if approved by the promotion committee, b.) join unallocated as a Major, or C) apply to the council for Colonel admin powers. If accepted, said member will be considered an unallocated Colonel, until a position opens up.
Exception: Until further notice, North American Councillors will be eligible to join a squad, due to the scarcity of active members.
Amendment I:
A promotions committee will be created to consist of 2 to 10 active councillors. Only councillors that play CSS a lot and are very familiar with WF members should be on this committee.
The selection process for the committee will occur as follows: A councillor wishing to be on this committee will submit his name to a nominations thread. After 3/4 days, the nominations will close and a poll will be opened with all of the councillors who nominated themselves. Each councillors may vote "yes" or "no" on whether to allow that councillor to be on the committee. A 2/3 majority if necessary to be selected for the committee.
The committee will hold elections a week or two after the beta council elections, excluding the intial elections which will be held upon the acceptance of this proposal.
If only two people wish to be on this committee, there will be no elections. If only one person wishes to be on the committee, a thread will be made asking the general clan is anyone wishes to be on the committee. Further, if only two people receive the required 2/3 majority number of votes, but other members receive a simple majority, the recently elected members may decide to add up to two additional members that had received the necessary 2/3 majority. However, all recently elected promotions committee members must agree on each additional member to add to the committee.
A simple majority is needed to accept a colonel's request for a promotion. The committee also reserves the right to promote any player to a vacant spot, at its discretion.
