Hey everyone. I think it's time we have a news thread like this in case we feel like reading interesting news stories. This way we'll know where to look. Feel free to post anything you feel is interesting and news worthy and discuss it.

"Candadian Boy Who Ran Away After Xbox Confiscated Found Dead"

You guys can use this as an argument if your parents ever threaten to take away your gaming system.

I would like to know how he died? Did he get raped by a bear or killed by a pedophile? Or what?

And now something pretty funny, if you do not understand Swedish I will give you a brief summary.

I just saw this article in a swedish newspaper Swedish text, all I found.

A huge shipments of Nintendo DS was stolen from a newly arrived shipment to Sweden. And now you will get about 13,000 dollars if you find them, but the shipments value was estimated to about 150,000 dollars. Why would I give them back if I found them, I would rather sell them and earn much more :P

a police escort just chrashed in denmark today. they were escorting a some drug dealer which they saw as "very dangerous". And for some fycked up reason they chose to hit the road in the morning trafic. And so they had to get some special forces to guard the chrash sight in the middle of the morning traffic.....pretty weird to see some police cars suddenly flying off the freeway :P

I have news, although it's almost a month old. As of October 25th, 2008, Jack Thompson has been disbarred. In other words, he is no longer able to practice law, so much for his crusade against video games.

I dont expect it would be any good on large scale, creating a massive EM field would screw alot of things up, especially with massive amounts of charge.

River Coln.
I don't live in Central London, I don't know why it's flooding, must've rained heavily before and the banks have burst just now, I don't know, I'm not a geographical person.

Flooding without rain? Fail? Can it have something to do with the huge amount of precipitation in England past days?

Snow falls on hills. Snow sits there, snow melts, water travels through the ground to the river, river fills up.
