Due to the recent exploitation of Invision Power Board by spammers to create hundreds of new forum accounts, I have removed all of the forum accounts that had 0 posts.

I apologise if any legitimate users were deleted but this purge was necessary. Please feel free to create your account again.

Is anything gonig to be done about the inactives also?

I know thats not quite as serious, but it is a bit annoying having members who are never gonig to come back or who've created new accounts

That's up to the council. If they come up with a reasonable proposition I'll do it.

*goes to read it*

You have the right idea in that you want to sort out inactives, but the problem with your method is that some people may only be out temporarily. I'm glad you are so full of ideas though :P

Exactly, it's rare for an idea to start perfect. Especially, the idea of giant spoons, that idea was never any good...*cries*

in my head it was a good one xD
but anyway, the main point for the idea is to "get rid" of members who isn't active..... ^^

I think we should just manually go through and check every member, like when was the last time they were on the forums. And when did this turn into a suggestion topic :P

Uh, no. All we would have to do is decide on how long they will have had to have been away to be considered inactive. Then I could easily go through and compile a list of all members to fall into that category. Simple as that, and it would only take me about 20-30 minutes to do.

or use jack, he can just set a variable on it on users last seen on the forums and weed them out. but that would require more work for him. and tbh hes got enough on his plate lol

Definitely, we don't need to bother him with anything else.
