when we (members) kick someone in our maps, the other ones and the one kicked say why dont you only slay or slap to warn, and next time kick?so i think the members could have the power to slap or slay(one of it) and the kick ability stay.So before we kick because camping or trenching we could slap or slay to warn them and next time kick.Ths is just a suggestion like the other ,and i hope you like it :P

I think that's a good idea. Slap would be better than slay, because you can slap with less damage or "slay" with slap.
It would be good if you could warn people before kicking, and that's one way to do it. Also when there's somebody teamkilling, if you kick him he will keep rejoining, but if you slay, it will be boring enough for them.

yes, also you could slap campers with 0 damage, so they can't aim...
That's what I've seen some sups doing before and this method is VERY helpful...
so: GREAT IDEA!!!

At this moment it is very doubtful that any changes to regular members admin will be made any time soon, the council still has to sort itself out and then we go from there.

using kick instead of slay gets the rules through people's heads.

slap usually looks like abuse whenever people use it.

just remember that if you state the reason they are being punished you can kick them.(or is that abuse?)

I disagree, no matter what form of punishment I use it always results in at least one case of "WTF STUPID KID ADMIN WHY YOU KICK/SLAY/ETC. ME?!?!@?11?ONE1oneone?111!!?"

Well then tell them the rule they broke or tell them to "calm down its just a game" if you really want to piss them off.

which ever one; wouldn't the Almighty BAN button be ""mighty"" useful?

I agree with Covie, and posted this in another topic, but I will state it again;
I think that we should still remind offenders of the rules before banning/kicking them. Not only that, we shouldn't ever insta-ban/kick a person unless they are blatantly hacking or other high priority offenses. Things like camping, trenching, and yes, even team killing can sometimes be corrected by just a simple slap or slay. Some people are new to the map and they don't know that by shooting out the floor under their team mates is considered team killing.

Personally, I think that normal members should be able to, Admin Say, Admin Private Chat(they can already), kick, and ban up to 30 minutes. However, I also think that this should only be done after we get the admin usage reporting system set up. There would also need to be STRICT rules in place to prevent abuse and it would be heavily moderated. For example, members would have the ability to ban someone right away if they really wanted to, but with the admin reporting system, we would be able to set up a flag to show us which admins banned someone without slaying, kicking, and warning the person first. We would then be able to respond to the incident.

well about the ban, if i see someone teamkilling (and of course when i am sure that he teamkilled on purpose). he gets a ban. not a perm ban, (i donīt like perm bans because everyone can change) but around one day.

What if the player did not have an ill intent, such as not knowing the map. You really should at least give one warning before you just go off and use any admin on them. Make sure that they understand that they are not allowed to shoot the blocks out from team mates; if they continue, then ban them after requestbanning them ;)

i think this is a good idea because as you kick somebody they come back and do the bad thing again and again and as slay or slap then you warn him more
